Overview
Every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to fulfill their potential .A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow-up.
English Talents School provides an environment in which children can thrive and grow whilst working with specialist staff who appreciate that every child is unique and that they learn and develop in efferent ways and at different times.
KG students are encouraged to investigate, solve problems, play, write, create, develop friendships, and challenge themselves to go a little further, higher, or deeper every day.
PRIMARY GRADES G1-G5
Overview
We build on students’ characters by providing them with a substantial amount of hands-on activities that allow them to grow connections between what they learn and the world they live in. We strive to enhance students’ curiosity through inquiry-based learning.
Subjects taught in English at this level include: mathematics, English, science, social studies, computer, art, drama, and physical education. Subjects taught in Arabic include: Arabic, Islamic Education, and social studies. Etiquette is an important part of our curriculum as it provides students with an understanding of social behavior and is taught as an integrated subject. By providing the best learning environment we allow each student to express their creativity and discover the joy of their learning journey.
From KG1 to Grade 5, students are investigating, solving problems, playing, writing, creating, developing friendships, and challenging themselves to go a little further, higher, or deeper every day. In the hallways, you will see motivated students engaged in learning and working together in a safe and positive environment. We encourage and develop the natural curiosity that exists in all children, helping them become successful students and life-long learners.
Teachers are the guides. ETS teachers go to great lengths to develop the whole child and to foster intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth in each of our students. Our teachers build relationships with students and target each student’s individual needs.
Analytical thinking, caring, taking calculated risks, communicating, keeping an open mind, seeking knowledge, and being a balanced, inquiring, reflective thinker, are the traits that make up the learner profile. These are all developed as part of our daily lessons at the ETS Elementary School.
